The legend of mimosa by Ercole Bonjean
Elena, a young woman, fell in love with the Sun, she looked at it attracted by the beauty of its rays and her eyes looked at it enraptured by its strength, by its heat. But the Sun did not return so much love and struck her with spears of fire. She continued to love him and looked for him with her eyes. She cried for days trying to convey to him the love she loved him. And then the tears fell on the ground and transformed into many small and fragrant yellow flowers. The mimosa was born, the flower symbolizing women.
