Jesus or Barabbas
“Evil be freed!”
Shouts the crowd,
As Pilate washes himself,
Barabbas smiles.
The road is steep,
The cross is heavy.
He falls.
He gets back up.
It’s dark;
The wind whispers,
The Earth screams,
There is nothing it can do:
It’s silent,
Everything is quiet.
The sun rises.
The light returns
To brighten up faces,
And peace
